Big advantages to having the service plans are phone and remote connection support. These methods of support carry lower minimum time usage than sending out technicians, saving you great amounts of money and providing convenient answers to quick questions or issues. I.e.: your having trouble with your e-mail program so you call “company X”, they send out a technician at an hourly rate of $95.00 or so with a one hour minimum (which is on the low side some companies are 1.5 hours minimum) the tech shows up, hits enter and your problem is fixed. He says “have a nice day” and your bill is $95.00.
With phone and remote connection support these easy issues can be resolved for much less. The same example with our “service plan A” you call up, state your issue then are transferred to a phone technician he says press this you do he says thank you and you pay nothing out of pocket. The charge is attributed to your service plan hours at the minimum 15 minutes. This breaks down to: “service plan A” hourly rate $58.80 divided by 4 (to get 15 min.) = $14.70! You literally save $80.30! Remote connection support works the same way for more complicated issues with a 30 minute minimum.
