Pricing

Most of our pricing is done on an hourly basis; our rates vary depending on the work that is required.  For new home or office wiring we will bid a job in its entirety and unless changes are made, that price will reflect your final price.  For post wire or retro wiring (running a line in your already built current residence) we must send out a specialist this type of job and we bill at an hourly rate of $135.00 per hour.  We work with other subcontractors that will come out and patch drywall and repaint whatever is necessary after the wire has been ran, those prices will be additional to any incurred for the original running of the wire and installation of the jack.

Home security and Home automation are quoted per job same as new home wiring whether or not your home or office is already finished.  The reason for this is thanks to the new hybrid wireless and hardwire systems which allow us to use wireless sensors wherever we would normally have to retro in a line.

Home theater pricing of coarse will completely depend on how elaborate of a system you would like to build.  Most of the time home theater will include some addition of lines, unless of course you had lines run previous to your house being constructed.  For larger home theater pricing we will send out a representative to work with you making sure the quote is accurate.  Just call or e-mail us for prices on individual equipment.

We price our computer repair per hour, don’t be fooled by the flat rate pricing that many companies offer these can lead to large amounts that don’t relate to you actual issue.  For example lets say you call “Company X” because you are having trouble with connecting to the internet, “Company X” may send out a computer technician to repair your internet issue (149.00) only to find out that the issue is actually caused by a virus which needs to be removed (125.00).  Now in most cases you will be charged for the repair of your internet as well as the removal of the virus adding up to a whopping $274.00!  At our “service plan A” price that’s equal to 4 ½ hours of service!  With hourly rates our technicians can use the time in your home to cure your problem regardless of which direction is takes them.

Another example: “Company X” comes out to fix your internet only to find that the problem lies in the homes wiring, most computer repair facilities are not equipped to handle the repair of structured wiring.  Now you have paid “Company X” to tell you that you have to go somewhere else with your problem.  At LCLV we handle many types of low voltage work, in this instance you wouldn’t have to find another company our computer tech would know details of the issue and we can send out a specialist for repairing the line.
